Ghost

Ghost was like a spitfire, armed with six koveran-capable cannons. He fired a spray of death at whatever was directly in front of him. In this case, it was a squadron of hostile fighters. They belonged to a battleship that had hidden in the gravimetric well of a pulsar, thinking it would be safe.

It was wrong. Ghost fired 6 koveran torpedoes at the carrier simultaneously, the rounds only phased in before contacting the hull, making the carrier’s  flak defences useless. The ship exploded, and all that was left were these fighters.

But he was like a spitfire, coming around at the slower craft with grace. They fired on him occasionally, getting behind him. He would barely give those fighters any attention, allowing them their attempts at shooting him down while he focused on those unfortunate enough to be caught in front of him.

Missiles would leave the racks of the hostile fighters on occasion, as they did now. They streaked towards him, passing through him as he phased out. He used the lack of any inertia in beemspace to spin around and face his pursuers – he may have to give these ones attention. He fired a full spread from his cannons. The fighters split up and ran. He continued firing after them, a stream of particles racing after the fleeing fighters.
